The Mnogin Greenhouse


Is a sustainable indoor growing facility located on Nipissing First Nation. The greenhouse is using groundbreaking hydroponic technology to grow the highest quality of lettuces, leafy greens, and herbs in North Bay and the surrounding areas while continuously remaining environmentally friendly.

Our Technology

Deep-water Culture Hydroponics 


The cultivation of plants where the roots of the crops are submerged in a specific nutrient rich and oxygenated water. The nutrients are precisely measured and added to the solution, which is constantly being monitored, to provide the optimal amount of nutrients through out the plants growth cycle.



  • Through direct contact with the solution, the absorption of nutrients into the plants is enhanced, thereby increasing crop quality.  
  •  In hydroponics, plants can grow 40-50% faster and 30% larger than conventional farming practices.


Vertical Farming


Controlled Environment Agriculture

This technology protects the crops from any outside environmental stresses and enables us to effectively control and monitor every aspect of the growing environment such as temperature, humidity, and lighting. We are the only growing facility in the region that has the capabilities of a closed system. 


  • Allows growers to create the optimal growing environment for our plants.
  • Increases crop quality and guarantees consistent quantities.
  • Reduces disease and pest pressures therefore there is no use of pesticides.


Horizontal Stacking

This growing technique allows more plants to grow in less space as they are stacked on top of each other in trays. This allows the plants to grow parallel to the ground, as they would in nature, and ensures an even distribution of light and nutrient solution, unlike other growing methods.


  • The proportions of each plant type are uniform.


  • Our light emitting diodes (LEDs) distribute light more evenly, provide a greater range of spectrum, and use less power than traditional lighting.

Our Customers

The Mnogin Greenhouse is fully operational year-round and will grow a variety of lettuces, leafy greens and herbs. We are the most reliable supplier in North Bay and the surrounding areas. 


Online Orders will be available for pick up at the greenhouse location Wednesdays 12:00pm-1:00pm and Fridays 12:30pm-4:30pm. Bulk orders will qualify for delivery, at the customer’s request and convenience.
